For this Durham Pre-K wrap-around care landscape report, commissioned by Durham Pre-K's Governance Committee, I provided research, interviews, analysis, and writing.

In this report, I identify key program participation challenges tied to wrap-around care access and availability and offer conclusions and recommendations for addressing these challenges.

For about two years, I provided ongoing communications planning and supports, including development of legislative advocacy materials, press releases, interviews, and monthly blog posts, and I provided project management support on the agency's website redesign.

Over the course of a year, I conducted a series of interviews with community leaders involved in Durham County's universal pre-k program and provided stories for the program's Community Connections newsletter.

February 2023

For The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation's 2022 Annual Report, I provided an article on the Triangle Capacity Building Network and its journey toward trust-based philanthropy. The funding collaborative studied ways to better support nonprofits' financial health and resiliency, including examining the structures keeping the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors in a perpetual power imbalance. The article highlights their work toward trust-based philanthropy and shared power with grantees.
